People for Parks

All benches and pavers will be installed in the audience area at the Lake Harriet bandshell.

Please note, that in order to preserve the joyful atmosphere at the Bandshell, MPRB has requested that these benches and pavers not use words such as “in memory of”. For the benches they prefer a person’s name, for example: “Mary F. Johnson” or “The Johnson Family”. The pavers may use “In honor of”.

People for Parks is using environmentally friendly Holland Grand Permeable paving stones featuring wide, crushed-stone-filled joints that are layered over a crushed stone base allowing water to drain through the surface.
